Recognition and Rewards Program

Airport employees who go above and beyond for our guests deserve to be celebrated. That’s why we created several types of recognition for everyone who exceeds expectations.

PDX People Customer Service Awards
Every quarter, we gather great customer service stories and recognize employees from each of the airport industries with a PDX People customer service award. We then honor these individuals during a live event. Whether you’re a guest or a coworker, you can make a nomination at any time on our employee website.

Annual Customer Service Celebration
Every year, we host a special event to honor the contributions of top employees over the past year, as selected by their managers.

PDX People Appreciation Events
Every September, we hold a week of events designed to honor and appreciate everyone who works at the airport. Throughout the year, we also like to surprise employees with giveaways, treats and swag as a way to say thanks.

On-the-Spot Recognition
Managers are provided with sealed envelopes containing $10 gift cards to participating PDX shops and restaurants. The envelopes can be used “on-the-spot” to thank employees who demonstrate exceptional customer service.
